About the Author

Mikhaeyla Kopievsky is an independent author born in the limbo between Gen X and Gen Y under southern skies. A self-confessed philomath, Mikhaeyla holds degrees in Political Science, International Relations and Environmental Science. She loves reading and writing speculative fiction – particularly alt-future sci fi, urban fantasy, cyberpunk and contemporary gothic.

When she is not reading or writing, Mikhaeyla enjoys listening to music, drinking mojitos, watching Supernatural and engaging in passionate discussion about politics, religion and humanity. She lives in the Hunter Valley region of NSW, Australia, spending her time between the serenity of hinterland acreage and the vibrancy of Newcastle’s creative renaissance.

Mikhaeyla is currently writing Book 2 of Divided Elements – in which a post-apocalyptic Paris serves as the backdrop to a story of population control, rebellion and shifting loyalties. You can read Book 1 here.
